Trey Lance still is owed $940,000 for the remainder of 2023 and $5.3 million in 2024, all of which is guaranteed from Dallas. The Cowboys also have the ability to decide on Lance’s fifth-year option for 2025.

Not bad by 49ers to get a 4th back

Could be a good project for the Cowboys

Hope Lance gets a shot

Just a weird situation all the way around. Mismanaged by 49ers to some extent but they believe they got something in Purdy obviously

Pure stupidity for SF to trade all those top draft choices to move up for Lance, who had one year of QB exprience at a minor college team. They were dreaming the Mahomes type would emerge because he was fast and had a good arm.

Nope.

Belicheat once said (something like) only draft a QB who has several years experience in an NFL type offense.

Lance ain't it.

Richardson ain't it.

SF putting an awful lot of stock in Brock Purdy. He was the last pick in the draft and only played 8 games before getting hurt.

I was never big on Lance, but I could see the Purdy experiment blowing up in their faces.
